Our verdict
Furious Racing is a straightforward licensed kart racer for families who like the Garfield cast. The Steam page lists eight characters, from Garfield and Odie to Nermal and Arlene, 16 circuits from the Garfield universe, and dozens of accessories for customising both character and kart. Picking a character and kart that suit your driving style and controlling your skids are at the heart of the racing.
The mode list is short: Grand Prix, single races and time trials. Multiplayer covers more ground than many family racers, with split-screen for up to four players on one PC and online races for up to eight. That online support separates it from Smurfs Kart and PAW Patrol: Grand Prix, which are local-only.
Expect a compact package rather than a long campaign, as no story or career mode is listed. Steam recommends a gamepad and lists full controller support. It is also one of the few games in this catalog with a macOS version as well as Windows, and Valve rates it Playable on Steam Deck.
If you want the same family-friendly idea with a larger cast, compare it with Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway or DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing, which also include online play.
Based on the documented features of the PC version, not a hands-on review or score.
