KART RACER ON PC / RELEASED
A kart racer based on the Gigantosaurus animated series, with 15 tracks across three cups, eight dinosaur characters and four-player split-screen.
Dino Kart turns the Gigantosaurus animated series into a kart championship across the prehistoric land of Cretacia. You race as dinosaur friends from the show across 15 tracks grouped into the Savannah, Jungle and Mount Oblivion cups, with eight characters to choose from, and you may even run into the mysterious Gigantosaurus himself on the course.
It is meant for players of all ages and keeps its multiplayer local. Up to four players can compete in split-screen, and a controller is required when two to four people play. No online mode is listed.
For families with a Steam Deck it is an easy choice from the technical side, because Valve rates it Verified and Steam lists full controller support. At the time of checking it was also heavily discounted on Steam, which made it a low-cost way to add a family kart racer to a library, although sale prices change.
Compared with PAW Patrol: Grand Prix from the same developer, Dino Kart has more tracks, 15 against 11. Choose between them by the show your children watch, since both take the same local-only approach. Race With Ryan is the third game from that developer in this catalog.
