KART RACER ON PC / RELEASED

Race With Ryan

A Ryan's World kart racer for young children, with simple controls, optional auto-acceleration, a Career Mode and split-screen for two to four players.

  • 4 local players

Our verdict

Race With Ryan is built for children who know Ryan's World from YouTube and may be playing one of their first racing games. Simple controls, optional auto-acceleration and a tutorial are there to guide younger players, and a Career Mode gives a solo player a route to the top of the standings.

The tracks are set in six themed locations, and Ryan's Mystery Eggs on the course hand out power-ups such as Burger Shields and Sticky Slime. The racers include Ryan's World characters like Red Titan, Gus the Gummy Gator and Combo Panda, with more unlocked as you progress.

Multiplayer is local only: two to four players can race in split-screen on one PC, and no online mode is listed. Two optional track packs are sold separately.

Valve has not rated it for Steam Deck, so its Deck status is unknown, while Steam lists full controller support. If you want a similar game with a different licence, PAW Patrol: Grand Prix and Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart come from the same developer and are both rated Verified for Steam Deck.

Based on the documented features of the PC version, not a hands-on review or score.

We make Wildlap. It is a PC kart racer in development, without a release date or public demo yet.
