KART RACER ON PC / RELEASED
A free-to-play online kart racer where drifting charges ultimate abilities, with an item shop, battle passes, boxes and stat-changing kart equipment. It runs on Windows and macOS.
Oh Baby Kart's payment model needs a closer look than any other game in this list. It became free-to-play in October 2024, and the developer said at the time that free players get every online mode but not most solo modes, and that any purchase from the shop unlocks the full version. The game sells skins, battle passes, bundles and boxes of random items. Since the 2.0 update in October 2025, kart equipment changes stats such as speed, handling and drifting. It comes from rewards, boxes, recipes and the item shop, has no effect in Time Trials and can be switched off in custom games.
The racing itself is built around drifting, which charges each character's ultimate ability, from speed boosts to rockets and freezes. Race Royale runs over several rounds, Grand Prix works solo or in pairs, races now have eight racers instead of twelve, and the map pool rotates by season. Time-trial ghosts arrived in June 2026, and the developer posts patch notes on Steam regularly.
Online play is the core of the game, and Steam lists cross-platform multiplayer. The developer's patch notes describe offline split-screen, added in June 2024 and announced again as local play in May 2026, but they give no player limit, and Steam's own feature list does not mention split-screen.
It runs on Windows and macOS, needs a broadband connection and 15 GB of storage, lists full controller support and is rated Verified for Steam Deck.

Oh Baby Kart sells cosmetics, passes and stat-changing equipment alongside its free races. Wildlap's progression is a garage where coins earned in races go into your kart's performance and look; its price and release date have not been announced.
